Vintage Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk Prince Franz Friedrich zu Hohenlohe von Waldenburg bis Schillingfurst

One of our most special trunks ever sold : the original, marked and documented LV wardrobe steamer trunk from Prince Franz Friedrich von Schillingsfurst zu Hohenlohe bis Waldenfurst.

This Hungarian prince lived from 1879 to 1958 the high society life and wrote his own autobiography about it.  The trunk itself is marked with a crow and the letter  ‘H’  on the bottom and both sides. the family colours red and white are painted on the trunk.
