Antique Louis Vuitton damier hatbox trunk 1890s

This antique LV hatbox carries the famous checkerboard ‘damier’ design which was launched in 1888.

It’s an early one, with several nice travelling labels that reveal its travel to the US and Interlaken Switserland.

Everything is in good working order and it comes with the original removable tray. It has serial number 49774.

The size of this trunk is 75x43x54cm.
